The Boy Scout Movement had a simple start in the year 1907 when a Maj. General of Army Lord Baden Powell conducted an experimental camp in Brown sea Island in England with 20 boys. Scouting started in India in the year 1909, The first Guide Company in India was started in Jabalpur, Central India in 1911. Providing young people with value-based, attractive and challenging youth programme through competent leaders, effective communication, optimum use of technology and efficient management is the main aim of the Bharat Scouts & Guides Program. AVV got adopted the Scouts & Guides program in the year 2015. Under this activity every year children are trained and given detailed information about Scouts and Guides and different types of camps are also organized from time to time.
In the same order, all the 30 students involved in the Scout and Guide State Award and President’s Award were selected for the Darjeeling (West Bengal) camp, where they received the State Award and President’s Award from 10/11/2022 to 21/11/2022. Like every year, this year also a pre-checking examination was conducted for the students who received state awards on 25th December 2022 at Gurukul Vidyalaya Katargam, Surat, in which 9 guides and 5 scouts of our school i.e. a total of 14 students participated.
38 Students from 2018-19 batch have qualified the “Trithiya Sopan” examination and received the Scouts and Guides Governor’s Award from Hon’ble Governor, Shri O.P. Kohli at the Raj Bhavan, Gandhi Nagar, on 22nd February 2019.

Trithiya Sopan Examination was conducted on 2nd October 2018 for 38 Scouts and Guides and all 38 qualified.
Swachhata Abhiyan on 2nd October 2018. Students enthusiastically participated in the Cleanliness drive around the school premises.
